500km in 5 days / Acts29 Fund-raising

I am raising funds for Acts29, a charity that Mel, my wife, and I support. My goal is to raise at least $3500 by riding 500km between Xmas Eve and New Years Eve through the Rapha Festive 500 community.

I am raising funds for Acts29, a charity that Mel, my wife, and I support. My goal is to raise at least $3500 by riding 500km between Xmas Eve and New Years Eve through the Rapha Festive 500 community.  

Acts29 take Filipino slum kids and youth off the dumpsite that they were born on and shelter, feed and educate them in several Formation Houses. Some of them came into the programme at 6, and now are studying to be Architects and Engineers in Uni. Their academic performance is monitored throughout and they return to the programme to help with the younger ones.

In fact, the elder of the the 2 brothers (JR and Jimboy) that Mel and I support did so well in Grade 8 that he is skipping Grade 9 and going straight into Grade 10; it's amazing and truly humbling.

Right now their Formation Houses need new roofs. The Boy's house is leaking and the Girl's house is infested with termites. You can help by pledging however much you want for each km that I am out there or making a one time donation.
